« Two manuscripts in two different hands. The first is Piccardini’s Scritti de Cavaleria , the second is Lorenzino Palmieri’s Perfette Regole et Modi di Cavalcare .
Piccardini’s work is heavily illustrated. Palmieri was a contemporary of Piccardini and worked at the Florentine court. Undated manuscript bound in vellum with ties on the fore-edge. Housed in a red slipcased folder with the title, Italian Equitation : illustrated manuscript / de Valerio Piccardini c. 1600, on the spine.
