International gatherings in Versailles September 25-27, 2024
On the 25, 26 and 27 September, the Château de Versailles is organising 3 days of meetings on the theme of equestrian culture.
Participants are invited to discuss the “Horse in Majesty” exhibition and the role of the horse at the heart of civilisations. The days will include lectures, equestrian demonstrations and visits to the equestrian academy's stables located in the château's stables.
We will be there to present an overview of women and horse riding in France, between biased perceptions and historical sources.
